Birth package

This service consists of an initial "getting to know each other" meeting with no obligation to book my services. If you choose to book me as your birth Doula, we would have 4 meetings at least as I feel it's important that we both be as comfortable as is possible in each other's company. I would usually do 1 or 2 of these meetings postnatally depending on parent's preference with the rest of the meetings taking place during the pregnancy.

During our antenatal meetings some of the things we would cover would be previous birth experience, birth physiology, OFP (optimum foetal positioning), talking through your birth preferences and exploring techniques to help cope with labour. From the time of booking me I will be available to you either by phone or email to answer any questions you may have or provide any information you may need. Or maybe you'll just want a chat, whatever you'll need me for I'll be contactable.

I would be on call for you 24hrs a day, 7 days a week from week 38 to the time of baby's arrival. I will never be more than 90 minutes away from your home during the on call period. I would provide continuous support through the entire labour and birth process; I can be with you from the first contraction until the baby is safely bundled in your arms.

I charge a total of £375 for this package.  A Deposit of £175 is payable upon signing the contract with the remainder due in full 2 weeks before the estimated date of delivery.

Previous birth debriefing

This is a one off session to go through a previous birth experience.  Maybe you had a traumatic time or things didn't go as planned, or you might simply want to talk through your birth experience.  I only charge travel costs for this service as I feel it's important that women and their families have the opportunity to debrief previous births. 

Antenatal classes
